There are lots of advantages and disadvantages of social media. when talking about the advantage, sometimes the social media will act like a catalyst to make the process fast in every category. For example if a number of people needs to meet together and they need to talk for a while, there is the role of social media they can conduct a facetime in any of the social media. So, it would make the process fast, means save time meanwhile sometimes social media would consume time, like by looking at videos and images in social media the person cant sense how much time he/she have been spending on it.
Then focusing on the disadvantage of social media, the pivotal thing that i found is “unsecure” there are secure social medias as well. Despite having lots of security features nothing is secure here because these are all about technologies. so anything can happen at anytime. if a hacker is more smarter than the company that developed one of the social media that person can crack the security features of that application or site.
sometimes this social medias can be a weapon too. because most of the people in this world is using social media. so, if one social media is very popular around the globe like FB that social media company will be having the data that what people think or what is the pulse of the people currently. this trend in people is very precious this can create lots of problem. For example there is a talk in United states that the president has used the data to win the election this can be true or fake news nevertheless this can be done if someone got the data. this data can unbalance lot of strategies that we used to follow. so social media is a kind of weapon also.
